Chocolate Fondue Recipe from Stonehurst

This chocolate fondue recipe comes from Stonehurst Manor in North Conway, New Hampshire. It's a perfect

INGREDIENTS:
- FONDUE INGREDIENTS:
- 4 oz. butter
- 4 oz. margarine
- 1.5 oz. unsweetened chocolate
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 4 oz. condensed milk
- 2 lbs. confectioners sugar
- 2 cups raspberries, frozen, pureed
- 1 ripe banana, pureed
- FOR DIPPING:
- 1 pint strawberries
- 3 bananas
- 1 pineapple
- 1 melon
PREPARATION:
Preparation:
In the top half of a double boiler, place margarine, butter and
unsweetened chocolate and let melt. When the butter has melted,
stir in the evaporated milk and condensed milk and let cook for 10
minutes. Place confectioners sugar in a sifter and whisk into
chocolate stirring until well incorporated. Stir in raspberries,
banana and vanilla and cook 10 more minutes. Stir well and remove
from heat.
Serving:
Cut fruit into bite-sized pieces and arrange on a platter. Using a
toothpick, pick up a piece of fruit and dip into warm chocolate.
