| Creamy Chocolate Almond Fondue
RecipeAmerican Dessert| Ingredients:2 7-ounce bars milk chocolate, broken into pieces 3 ounces white baking bar, chopped
 1 (7-ounce) jar marshmallow creme
 3/4 cup whipping cream, half-and-half, or light cream
 1/4 cup finely chopped toasted almonds
 3 tablespoons amaretto (optional)
 Pound cake cubes
 Assorted fruit, cut into bite-size pieces
 
 |  | Directions:1. In a 3 1/2- or 4-quart crockery cooker combine milk chocolate,
white baking bar, marshmallow creme, creme, and almonds. 
 2. Cover; cook on low-heat setting for 2 to 2 3/4 hours or till
chocolate melts. Stir till smooth. If desired, stir in
amaretto.
 
 3. To serve, spear cake cubes or fruit with fondue forks; dip into
chocolate mixture.
 
 Makes about 4 cups. Per 1/4 cup fondue with pound cake: 249
calories, 3 g protein, 29 g carbohydrate, 15 g total fat (9 g
